How does microdermabrasion work?

Microdermabrasion uses a diamond-tip and vacuum suction for a deep exfoliation of the skin to remove dead skin cells and stimulate growth of a new layer of smooth skin.

What are the benefits of microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion can reduce breakouts by unclogging pores and removing blackheads, smooth and rejuvenate skin by stimulating collagen production and brighten your complexion.

Should I hold the device stationary on my skin?

We recommend that you do not hold the device stationary on your skin - move it a smooth continuous motion without remaining stationary to avoid small temporary bruises (like a hickey).

How often should I use it?

It’s best to start slowly – usually just once a week, then build up to 2 or 3 times a week if this is comfortable for your skin.

Will it hurt?

Treatment should not be painful. Depending on the sensitivity of your skin, you may feel temporary discomfort and redness after treatment, but this will soon subside. Always start with the sensitive diamond tip and a low power setting.
